Jet paints with 100 volunteers at Dell Children's Medical Center Art of Giving
April 25th with the help of 100 volunteers I created 2 big 36x36 paintings at the Children's Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas Art of Giving event at Dell Children's Medical Center.
It was the first time using a pallet knife for every one of the artists. Panting with knives? Cool. They wrote their names, smiley faces, butterflies, peace signs and positive worlds on the canvas then scraped over them.
They turned out great! The money raised benefits the Child Life Art and Music Therapies Endowments at Dell Children's Medical Center.
12 Austin artists created 36x36 art works. My medium is oil on canvas with a palette kinfe so I practiced and learned how to use acrylics for this event.
Art of Giving raised $90,106 for the Child Life Art and Music Therapies Endowments at Dell Children’s Medical Center! I am proud to be part of it.
I also made a delivery of our Share Art Heal Art Experience Kits to the Child Life Department that day. We are comitted to keep Dell Children's Medical Center stocked with our Art Experience Kits.
