Volunteers Deliver Art Supplies to Arc of the Arts, AGE of Central Texas and VSA
Thank you Share Art Heal volunteers Amy, Will, Marleigh, Sally and Reese for spending the day delivering art supplies to 3 of our partners. Our first stop was Arc of the Arts with 50 canvases and 50 paint brushes. Monday is digital art day and we watched the class make stop animation promos for their upcoming art show Puppy Love February 5th. Some of the students were drawing the backgrounds and some were drawing puppies, cutting them out and putting them on popsicle sticks like stick puppets. Then they took photos looking down on the the scene moving the figures a little bit for each photo. We saw a little of the final animation. So great! Congratulations Arc artists!

Our third delivery and visit was with AGE of Central Texas and a delivery of markers and Share Art Heal Coloring Cards to their day program for seniors with memory loss. As always some folks were coloring. Our Coloring Cards feature artwork by students from APD's Summer Youth Leadership Program. Thank you students for sharing your art with the seniors.
