Time Capsule Project at Dell Children's Art of Giving April 1

For her project at Dell Children's Art of Giving this year Susan Moore will be creating a time capsule. You and your family are invited. Bring something to be buried in the time capsule!

What would you like the future to know about you? What's important in your day? What can't you live without? What thing or idea do you hope goes away forever? How do you celebrate? What makes you happy? What do you hope for in your future? What's your favorite... Food? App? Time of day? Time of year? Song? Funny joke? Artist? Scientist? Movie? Car? Place you've traveled? Scent? Book? Sport? Sound? Object from nature? Article of clothing... ???i Bring and put it in the time capsule!

Saturday April 1 Twelve artists will be making art with current and former patients and their families and the community.

The artwork is pre sold to corporate sponsors. We all show up and make art. Last year 12 artists and 100 people of all ages raised $123,00 for the hospital.

The funds equally benefit two important areas at the hospital: (1) endowment – Art & Healing and Music Therapy Endowments and (2) Dell Children’s Trust granting pool (funds that go towards underfunded programs hospital wide).

This is our 2nd year as an official sponsor of the fundraiser. Share Art Heal Founder Jet Baker is one of the artists. It's Jet's 3rd year painting at the event. Elizabeth Hendley MA, ATR-BC Art Therapist at Dell Children's Medical Center is the created this event 5 years ago with the Dell Children's Trust. Elizabeth is also on the Share Art Heal Advisory Board of Directors.

Share Art Heal Dell Children's delivers our Art Experience Kits to Dell Children's Emergency waiting area each month. We support Dell Children's all year. This is the one day when the community can join in making art to benefit the hospital. We hope to se you there. And bring something for the time capsule!
