Meet Stacey Locke Our Art Kit Program Coordinator
Stacey Locke has been volunteering her time to make art kits with Share Art Heal since our first Art Kit Day in January of 2015. The program is so successful now that it's time for Stacey to official step into the role of Art Kit Program Coordinator. Welcome and thank you Stacey!
Stacey is a World Wildlife Fund Ambassador, sustainable forestry, the Operations Manager of Lockwin, LTD Sustainable Family Forest Manager and and an artist//writer/musician, part of A Working Group on camera acting conservatory at Brock/Allen Casting. Add Share Art Heal Art Kit Coordinator to the list. Thank you for making time in your busy schedule for Share Art Heal.
Our art kits are assembled by community partners. We meet with our partners, choose the recipient of our art kits, order the supplies, assemble art kits, then deliver them. That's a lot of moving parts.
We deliver art kits to Dell Children's Medical Center monthly. Those kits are assembled by these community partners: A Working Group at Brock/Allen Casting, The students of APD's Summer Youth Leadership Program, and seniors at Lyon Gardens Residences.
We deliver art kits to DePelchin Chidren's Center for foster children and Austin State Hospital quarterly and those art kits are assembled by volunteers at Art for the People Gallery. We've just added Helping Hand Home. They'll be receiving our art kits regularly.
And this June the students of APD's Summer Youth Program will be creating art kits for seniors at Lyon Gardens and AGE of Central Texas. These students created the artwork on our Coloring Cards art kit and in our Coloring Cards Postcards Book on sale around Ausitn.
With so many moving parts your help is greatly appreciated Stacey.
