Whole Foods Market Team Members Make Art Kits for Blue Santa
December 13, 2016
The second floor of Whole Foods Corporate Headquarters was transformed into Santa's Workshop when the Whole Foods Market Legal Team assembled 1000 Share Art Heal Coloring Card art kits for Operation Blue Santa. The whole team showed up! Three workstations with supplies operated with speed and precision and in 2 hours 1000 art kits were assembled. They will be hand delivered to 1000 Austin kids by Blue Santa.
Each kit contains 4 double sided Coloring Cards, and an 8 pack of Crayola crayons in a clear card envelope. Every label was personalized with hearts, smiling faces, christmas trees, Santa faces and signed by the team members. Artwork on our Coloring Cards was created by students at Austin Police Department's free month long Summer Youth Leadership Program at Kealing Middle School.
APD's Operation Blue Santa will provide Christmas dinner and a wrapped box of gifts for each child 14 and under. On December 17th Blue Santa's helpers, APD Officers will volunteer their time to personally deliver Christmas Dinner and gifts to 7000 Austin families.
Thank you Whole Foods Market Team Members! We had fun today and thanks to you 1000 kids in Austin will have a brand new box of crayons and an art experience this Christmas.
